The website represents our design team so we put more direction that communicate our creativity side. This means that we make an effort to design novel and uncommon design elements and interactions. The process of finding and creating the ‘right’ element I found personaly is fun.

CHALLENGE

It’s challenging for us to ensure that the teams are all working toward the same goals for the website. These initiatives involve a large number of individuals, both directly and indirectly, and everyone has an opinion on how the website should look like.

Another one is how to build the UI element that is scalable. Making sure the website is finished is important, but so is making sure the website is easier to manage. On our website we have some content that regularly needs to be updated. We must keep it in mind while we build the website.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  1. On this project, I learn how to make the website run smoothly. There is a significant amount of interaction on our website. Along the way, I manage to find a "hacky" way and make some adjustments to get the seamless-desired interaction while not slowing down our website's performance.

  2. Sometimes you only need to ask to get what you want. Initialy, I’m not involved in this project. Since I experienced in web-building, I propose our team to use a web-builder engine that most suitable with our needs. I also said that I can actively help on this project. I manage to get the team’s trust and I’m happy with the overall journey and the result.
